Reclaim Privacy Policy

Reclaim (“the App”) is designed to help you manage distracting app usage. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it’s used, and the choices you have.

Information We Collect

Reclaim is designed to work primarily on your device. The App may store the following information locally on your iPhone:

Task and usage data stored on-device

Task list and any custom tasks you create

Task completion history (timestamps, counts, cooldowns, limits)

Your reward settings (reward minutes, cooldowns, max per day)

Restricted app selection stored on-device

Your selected restricted apps and categories (saved as system tokens, not readable app names)

Device activity and screen time related data

Reclaim uses Apple’s Screen Time APIs (Family Controls, Managed Settings, Device Activity, and Device Activity Reports) to enforce restrictions and display usage progress. Reclaim does not sell Screen Time usage data.

Information We Do Not Collect

Reclaim does not collect or store:

Your Apple ID

Your passwords

Your messages, emails, contacts, photos, or browsing history

The content you view inside other apps

Analytics and Diagnostics

If you enable system crash reporting and diagnostics, Apple may share aggregated crash logs with developers. These logs are used to improve stability and performance and may include limited device and app version information.

If Reclaim uses third-party analytics in the future, this policy will be updated and you will be able to review what is collected.

How We Use Information

We use on-device data to:

Show your tasks and track cooldowns and daily limits

Apply and remove app restrictions based on earned time

Display usage progress and remaining allowance

Improve the App’s performance and fix bugs

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information.

We do not share your personal information with third parties except:

As required by law

To comply with legal processes

To protect rights, safety, and security

Data Storage and Retention

Reclaim stores your task settings and history locally on your device. Data remains until you delete the App or reset the data from within the App (if that option exists).

Your Choices

You can:

Change which apps are restricted at any time in Reclaim

Adjust or reset tasks and reward settings

Remove permissions by turning off Screen Time / Family Controls access in iOS Settings

Delete the App to remove locally stored data

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are significant, we will update the effective date above and provide notice within the App or on the App’s listing.
