Getting Started
- Open PassPop and complete the short intro, or tap Skip.
- On Home, tap Create Pass.
- Walk through the 6 steps: Pass Type, Design, Appearance, Details, Barcode, Review.
- On Review, tap Add to Wallet.
No account or login needed.

Restore a purchase: Open the paywall from Settings or when prompted, then tap Restore.
Manage or cancel a subscription: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your iPhone, or the App Store subscriptions page.
Billing handled by Apple. PassPop cannot refund purchases directly. Use Apple’s refund request flow for billing issues.

What is PassPop for?
PassPop lets you turn cards and tickets you already have into personal Apple Wallet passes you design yourself.
Are these official passes from stores or venues?
No. PassPop creates personal Wallet copies for your own convenience. They are not issued or verified by merchants, venues, or other businesses.
Will my pass scan at the store?
Usually yes if the barcode value matches your real card. Some barcode formats display as image barcodes in Wallet and may not scan as reliably. Use Code 128, QR, Aztec, or PDF417 when possible. Check the live preview while editing.
My barcode will not scan
- Rescan or retype the barcode number carefully.
- Try Not sure? on the Barcode step for format help.
- Import from a clear photo of the barcode.
- Make sure the number on the pass matches the number on your physical card.
Camera scan not working
PassPop needs camera permission for live scanning. If scanning is unavailable on your device, type the barcode manually or import from a photo on the Barcode step.
Add to Wallet button missing
Free plan includes 1 Wallet add. After that, upgrade to PassPop Pro for unlimited adds. Tap Upgrade to Pro on the Review step or in Settings.
Wallet not available
Apple Wallet must be supported on your iPhone. PassPop cannot add passes on devices without Wallet support.
I deleted the app. Are my passes gone?
Passes already in Apple Wallet stay in Wallet. Saved drafts inside PassPop are stored on your device only and are removed if you delete the app.
Can I edit a pass after adding it to Wallet?
Edit the saved draft in PassPop, then add the updated pass to Wallet again. Apple Wallet does not let PassPop change an already-installed pass in place.
Pro purchase did not unlock
- Open PassPop.
- Go to Settings or open the paywall.
- Tap Restore.
- Confirm you are signed into the same Apple ID used for purchase.
If it still fails, email info@ctrlaltgo.ca with your Apple ID email and purchase receipt.
Pass failed to build
Check that Organization and Description are filled in. Try again from the Review step. If the error continues, email us with a screenshot of the message.

Barcode Formats
Native Wallet formats:
- Code 128

Also supported as image barcodes:
- Code 39, Code 93, EAN-8, EAN-13, UPC-A, and others
Code 128 does not display on Apple Watch. Image barcodes may not scan as reliably in Wallet brightness mode.
Privacy
PassPop stores pass drafts on your device. No account required. No pass data sent to PassPop servers for signing.
