Yes! Tap on any chicken card and then tap “Edit” to update name, breed, age, photo, or notes.
## Egg Tracking
### How do I log eggs?
Tap the “Log Eggs” button and select which chicken laid the eggs from the dropdown menu. You can also choose “General/Multiple chickens” if you’re not sure which specific chicken laid them.
### Can I see egg production history?

Currently, you can view egg history but cannot edit individual entries. Be careful when logging to ensure accuracy.
## Care & Health Tracking
### How do I log care activities?
Tap on a chicken card, then tap “Log Care”. Choose from activities like feeding, cleaning, health check, medication, or other care tasks.
### How does health tracking work?
When logging a “Health Check”, additional fields appear for health category (respiratory, digestive, behavioral, physical, parasites), severity level, and optional weight tracking.
### What do the health status indicators mean?
– **Green**: Good health, no recent issues
– **Yellow**: Minor concerns or due for checkup
– **Red**: Health issues requiring attention
### Can I track weight over time?
Yes! When logging health checks, you can enter weight data. The app tracks weight changes and displays trends.

### Can I export my data?
The app has a “Export Settings” feature in development, but full data export is not currently available.
## App Features
### What themes are available?
The app includes 6 themes:
– Dark Ocean (default)
– Midnight Purple
– Forest Night
– Sunset
– Arctic
– Neon
Access themes through the Settings tab.
### Does the app work offline?
Yes! The app works completely offline and does not require an internet connection for any features.
### Is there egg production forecasting?
Advanced forecasting features are in development to predict future egg production based on historical data and seasonal patterns.
## Troubleshooting
### The app is running slowly
Try closing and reopening the app. If you have many chickens or extensive data, performance may be affected.
### I can’t see my chickens
Make sure you’ve added chickens using the “+” button. If chickens appear to be missing, they may have been accidentally deleted.
### Egg counts seem wrong
Double-check your recent egg logs. Remember that the dropdown allows logging for specific chickens or “General/Multiple chickens”.
### Health status colors are confusing
Green = healthy, Yellow = minor concerns, Red = needs attention. Status is calculated based on recent health logs and care activities.
### Expenses aren’t calculating correctly
Ensure you’re entering amounts as numbers only (no currency symbols). Cost-per-unit calculations require both amount and quantity fields.
