QuickUp (“we,” “our,” or “the app”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how QuickUp handles your information when you use our macOS application.

Information We Collect

QuickUp is a local application that runs entirely on your Mac. The app requires you to provide:

  • App Store Connect API Credentials – Including your Issuer ID, Key ID, and Private Key
  • App Metadata – Downloaded from App Store Connect for editing purposes

How We Store Your Information

All information is stored locally on your device only:

  • API credentials are stored in your Mac’s secure Keychain
  • App metadata is cached locally for editing
  • No data is sent to our servers or any third-party services

How We Use Your Information

Your API credentials are used exclusively to:

  • Authenticate with Apple’s App Store Connect API
  • Download your app metadata for editing
  • Upload changes back to App Store Connect

All communication happens directly between your Mac and Apple’s servers. QuickUp acts as a client interface to the App Store Connect API and does not intercept, store externally, or transmit your data to any other parties.

Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not:

  • Share your data with third parties
  • Sell your information
  • Track your usage
  • Collect analytics or telemetry
  • Use advertising services

The only external communication is directly with Apple’s App Store Connect API servers using your provided credentials.

Data Security

We implement security best practices:

  • API credentials are stored in macOS Keychain, which uses industry-standard encryption
  • All API communications use HTTPS (SSL/TLS encryption)
  • No data leaves your device except for direct API calls to Apple’s servers

Your Rights and Control

You have complete control over your data:

  • Access: All data is stored locally on your device
  • Deletion: You can delete your API credentials at any time through the app’s settings
  • Portability: All app metadata can be exported in standard formats (.xcstrings)
  • Uninstall: Uninstalling QuickUp removes all stored data from your device

In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

QuickUp offers subscription plans to unlock upload features. Subscriptions are processed through Apple’s App Store:

  • Payment is handled by Apple, not by us
  • We do not have access to your payment information
  • Subscription management is done through your Apple ID account settings

Children’s Privacy

QuickUp is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the “Last Updated” date at the top of this policy.
